I get mixed reactions from football fans: whether Theo Walcott is a pure talent or just an overhyped twat. With the mere mention of his name, i get a quick “nah, he is just quick but no skills” or i hear or read that “he is the one for the future” probably from Arsenal fans or English people.

In my opinion, and based on the stats an videos of him playing, Theo Walcott is pure talent. Certainly, he is one of the ones for the future.
You need to remember that he was signed by Arsene Wenger, and that man does not make too many mistakes when it comes to identifying young talent.
It will take a while for him to establish himself as a consistent player, but I have no doubt that he will be an important player for both Arsenal and England in the years to come.
