Jack Wilshere is a 17 year old midfielder for Arsenal. He can play both left and right midfield or as a supporting striker. He was one of the youth players who scored in 6-0 rout of Sheffield United.
He started in Arsenal’s Hale End Academy when he was nine years old. He also plays for England Under 19.
Arsene Wenger, Aresenal’s long serving manager, says that Jack Wilshere has similarities to Liam Brady, one of the club’s famous players.
