Michael Mancienne currently on loan at Wolverhampton Wanderers in the Championship, a division 2 league in England. He plays as a defender. He may either play right back or center back, but his favorite position is the latter.
Mancienne made news when Fabio Capello picked him for the England senior squad last November 15, 2008. He would be in the lineup for a friendly game against Germany on Wednesday.
He was runner up in Supporters’ Young Player of the Year when he was still on loaned at Queen’s Park Rangers two years ago.
This kid has a good future. He will probably get the same popularity that Rio Ferdinand has.
Chelsea signed him up when he was still 8 years old.
