Vito Mannone

Vito Mannone is presently the third choice goalkeeper for Arsenal behind Manuel Almunia and Lukasz Fabianski respectively after the departure of the Jens Lehmann.

Mannone was acquired by Arsene Wenger in July 01, 2005 from Atalanta in Serie A in Italy where the kid was born.

He was on the bench as a back up keeper for Almunia in the 2007-2008 season, but never actually played a single league game. Although he played four first team games in the Championships for Barnsley.
